Why I started this blog? And you should start one right now!

Before, I haven’t had any piece of content on the Internet. Yes, that’s me at this time!

Everything started from the moment that I found content from some YouTubers that I very admire. Start from Alex Hormozi with his knowledge about the “Value Equation”, with how to create a Grand Slam Offer (the Offer so good that people feel stupid saying no) in his “100M Offers” book. Those contents really resonated with me, and made me start curious about the entrepreneur, “How to make so much money on the Internet?”

From there, I started to watch other guys like Ali Abdaal, Tiago Forte, and Hamza Ahmed. And finally, I found a guy named “Andrew Kirby” through a video of Hamza. With my curiosity, I found his community on Skool – “Synthesizer School” and his free Classroom led to this site and this first blog – the first piece of content in writing I decided to publish on the Internet.

If you want to start making money online and haven’t known those guys, you should find them on YouTube. You will not regret it 😉

Writing makes you think clearly

A year ago from this post, my thoughts and emotions were in complete chaos. I was unsure of what I was thinking at that moment. There was unfinished work accumulating, and my partner expressed unhappiness due to my limited time spent with her. At that time, I had yet to determine my goals or the necessary steps to take. It left me feeling lost and uncertain.

And by serendipity, I found a viral short video.

Your body is a vehicle. Use it.

When you feel off, turn your body on. Lift. Run. Train.
When you overthink, turn your body off. Sit. Journal. Meditate.

– Zack Pogrob

Inspired by it, I started writing “Journaling” – writing for myself.

It’s remarkable how something as simple as putting pen to paper can provide solace and clarity during moments of confusion. Through journaling, I started gaining insights into myself that had previously eluded me. It became a transformative process—one where self-reflection led to self-discovery.

If you are overwhelmed with your thoughts, you should start writing with the simplest form “Journal”. Just write out anything that pops up in your mind.

Cash cube game

Did you know this game? A player will stand in a box with money blown inside, and the mission of the player is to grab as much money as possible. They will then be rewarded with the money they grabbed. Now, imagine your mind is that box, and your thoughts are like money when you are overthinking. Just grab any thought that you can, write it out on paper, and those thoughts will no longer fly around in your head. You will be rewarded with a clear mind!

Then, you will be more articulate

“Articulate” definition from Cambridge Dictionary

I first came across this concept from watching videos of Jordan Peterson, which can be found on YouTube. It is an incredibly valuable skill that I believe everyone should possess in life. Effective utilization of this skill can greatly enhance communication, negotiation, and persuasion, and enable one to effortlessly achieve their desired goals and aspirations.

The most dangerous person is one who articulate.

– Jordan Peterson

Why writing will help you more articulate?

When you write, you will have time to craft your words more carefully and precisely. The process of writing requires you to think and seek the right words that and express your thought as precise as possible to craft a sentence, a paragraph, or an essay that is readable and understandable. Unlike spoken communication, writing allows you to revise and edit before sharing it with others. Slipping of words not gonna happen when you write.

So by writing regularly, you will understand your thoughts better and improve your ability to express them effectively. You will get used to the thinking pattern to choose your words precisely and wisely. And when you speak, communication,… you will be able to express thoughts, and feelings easily and clearly. That is exactly the definition of “articulate”.

You will get a high-income skill to your skill stack

At the time writing of this post, “Copywriting” was still a hot career that can bring you a fortune and it was called a “High-income skill”. That is writing.

Past 20 years, the trends of “copywriting” peaked recently

Most content on the Internet is in the form of writing. By writing, you can spread your message to the world.

You can write a sale script that can help sell over 6 figures of value, write content for a website that is being used by millions of people, or advertisements that bring huge growth for your business.

Writing skill is one of the most powerful skill even if you do not pursue the copywriting career. You will easily encounter some other work that needs writing skills such as drafting a persuasive proposal to secure funding, writing reports, technical documentation, and research papers,…

It will be a serendipity vehicle for you in the future

When you write your content on the Internet, people will easily find you online. And by publishing your content regularly, people will discover you and give you unexpected opportunities that can change your life forever.

Since I do not have much experience with the concept “Serendipity Vehicle”. So I will put the original where I read about this for your further reading.

How to Maximize Serendipity

“But I don’t know what to write about”

Let’s take a moment to think, about which topics that you can not shut your mouth about when talking about it.
That is the topic that you want to write about.

If you still do not have any topic that you want to write. Just write anything that you have just discovered recently, anything. Just start writing. In the time you write, you will have more clarity in mind, you will know which topic you are excited about.

If you don’t know how to start, this is how I did

  1. Create a website on Hostinger, with WordPress as CMS(Content Management System).
  2. Setting your website with a domain name as you like
  3. Login to the WordPress admin of your site
  4. Choose a theme. You can choose a theme of WordPress or from the “Astra” plugin that Hostinger installed.
  5. Go to Posts > Create new post
  6. Find a place you can have full attention and have a mood for it – like a library, in your personal room, or a quiet coffee shop with some soft music.
  7. Write
  8. Publish
