Coze.com – The only platform you need to create your own AI chatbot
I stumbled on this platform at a time scrolling through my social network. It makes me impressive cause this is the platform I looking for when it comes up.
The first impression of me is “It’s completely FREE” (I can’t find its pricing or subscription anywhere). So that is the reason why I starting to discover it. I am also experienced with a similar platform to creating an AI chatbot with your own instruction and data – MindOS, but it does not have much powerful ability like Coze.

- Chat with your pre-configure Persona & Prompt you provide
- Integrate with other services to make the bot more powerful with Plugin: Google Search, Web browse, DALL-E,… Or you can integrate with your own system
- Auto-suggest the next question to ask the chatbot
- Using your knowledge you upload in DOC, DOCX, and PDF,.. to answer your prompts
- Do tasks, workflows, or scheduled tasks by your instruction
- Save conversations in its long-term memory to improve its own answer in the future

Quick start – Step-by-step guide
1. Access Coze.com
By seeing this page, you complete the first step.
2. Register/Login with your own Google account
You can create an account with your phone number or Google Account. Recommend login with your Google account for the fastest way.
3. Create a new bot
On the left side pane, click “Create bot”
4. Input your bot identity
You will have to input your “Bot name”, and “Bot description”. With the Profile picture of the bot, it can be generated by DALL-E 3 based on your bot name and bot description
Below is the example I have input and generated a Profile picture of the bot from DALL-E which is integrated in Coze.
Click “Confirm”
5. Input bot Persona & Prompts
You can input a prompt to guide the bot to provide answers to your demand.
Don’t worry if you don’t know how to write an effective prompt. Coze got your back. It provides you with a Prompt Optimize button to make your prompt clearer and help the bot understand its duty.
For example below, I have just input a simple prompt, and with a single click of “Optimize”, I already have a prompt that much more clarity in what the bot needs to do.
6. Add some plugins – tools of the bot
You can click the Plus sign to add plugins that are provided by Coze and its community
You don’t know which plugin the bot needs. Coze got your back again. Next to the plus sign, is the “Automatically choose plugin based on your prompt”
I keep using the “Automatic” button and it chooses plugins that are pretty relevant to my prompt.
7. Let’s test it
At this step, your bot almost have every basic tool, and let’s test it in the “Preview”
Hmm, it seems not good yet. But you can make it more powerful with other tools that Coze provides.
8. Publish
This is the step that your bot can integrate into your familiar message app. It’s included in the list below. Don’t worry about how to set up and integrate into your messaging platform, Coze has provided every guide that you need to set up for each platform.

Coze is the only platform to create your AI chatbot on your demands. It provides so many features and it’s free (at least at the time I write this post), crazy huh? In just only 5 minutes, I have created a bot that helps me create content about every topic that I ask.
You can optimize your bot by providing more clear prompt – bot instructions and using every tool that Coze already provided.
